The film, which stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Johnny Simmons, Ellen Wong, Allison Pill and Mark Webber, and Anna Kendrick, opens wide August 13 (with the final book in series, Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour, expected out a few weeks prior).

JASON SCHWARTZMAN? That is a good reason. This will either be really annoying and sucky or awesome. This trailer has unfortunately made me want to see it. I was kind of too annoyed by it and didn’t want to see it (DESPITE EDGAR WRIGHT DIRECTING THINGS I ONLY ENJOY SO THOROUGHLY) BUT FUCK, THIS TRAILER. And the music will be stuck in my head forever.
